Dzibilchaltún is located 15 km northeast of the city of Merida. It is an area that is famous for its lush greenery and refreshing cenotes. The park has over 100 natural and artificial wells, of which Xlacah Cenote (35 meters long and 55 meters deep) is the most notable formation. The sparse vegetation around the cenote favors the soil entrainment of its waters, which has led to a favorable environment for the growth of aquatic vegetation.

There are around 135 species of flora and 47 species fauna in its ecosystem, including the ocellated turkey, puma, brocket deer and white-tailed deer.

It is a unique setting for enjoying natural surroundings, relaxing and discovering the places along its trail.
